The Evin School of Management’s The Centre for Research on Cross-Cultural Leadership Decision Making and Organisational/Institutional Development is an independent and non-partisan think tank that aims at enhancing growth and effectiveness achievement to individuals, organisations/institutions and realise the community social impact and well-being for the overall communities. This centre is under the Evin School of Management- a registered Higher Education Institution in Tanzania by The National Council for Technical Education (NACTE).

Since its inception in year 2006, The Centre for Research on Cross-Cultural Leadership Decision Making and Organisational/Institutional Development at Evin School of Management has contributed towards growth and effectiveness achievement to individuals, organisations/institutions and realise the community social impact and well-being for the overall communities.

The Research on Cross-Cultural Leadership Decision Making and Organisational/Institutional Development is aligned with the Evin School of Management 2016- 2020 Strategic Plan. The Strategy covers Six Key Result Areas (KRA) of the Dimensions of Growth and Effectiveness or the Index of Growth and Effectiveness. These six dimensions forms its key thematic research areas.

THE PUBLIC AND NGO'S SECTOR WORK GROUP

The Public Sector Work Group employs a disciplined alternative applied research process with a key focus on informing developmental policy, strategy, project and programme design, development and Execution.Our research centre has a growing international reputation for development related research. Research findings apart from being used for specific organisational and institutional development, they are also disseminated in leading academic journals, conference proceedings, professional outlets and formal reports. The centre regularly undertakes funded research for the government, Not for Profit, private institutions and corporate (locally and internationally), various professional bodies and a growing number of key industrial development partners. Research is used to inform, maintain and develop dialogues with organisational and institutional stakeholders on issues of development interests.

Founded in 2006, Evin School of Management operates as a Higher Learning Institutions as well as an independent organisational development specialist offering a broad range of highly respected cross-cultural leadership decision making and institutional/organisational development programs of study. As an Organizational/Institutional Development Specialist – The Learning and Development Work Group focus is on changing people and organisations/Institutions for positive growth’ – Projects done by this work group aim at enhancing peoples improvements on visioning, empowerment, learning and problem solving processes through assessments, strategic planning and capacity building related services.

ORGANISATIONAL AND INSTITUTIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORK GROUP

The Organisational and Institutional Development Work Group focus is on assisting management to review and self-evaluate the services, products and solutions currently offered with a key focus on enhancing organisational and institutional competitiveness. Specifically, this work group uses different decision making models, frameworks and tools etc to align currently existing organisational and institutional operational policies, strategies, programmes and projects with the current business and working environment.  Our comprehensive review of all Program Support Policies, strategies, programmes and projects including eg pricing, differentiation, positioning, merger and Acquisitions, growth and expansions, etc. Through our work we make sure we accommodate a significant number of issues and changes emerged in last few years and particularly those dynamics affecting organisational and institutional competitiveness.

This centre offers – Day to Day management outsource services with our experts from operational policy, strategy, project and programme design, development and executions.
